We love living in Norfolk. Did you realise that it's one of the few counties that isn't crossed by motorway? We have some great local roads to ride on though and lots to explore.
However, if we want to go further afield, we can soon link up to motorway in order to travel countrywide. But did you know that in medieval times it was actually quicker to travel from Norfolk to Amsterdam, than it was from Norwich to London? At that time it took four days to get to London, but only one to sail to Amsterdam.
Over the years the journey time to London got shorter - only two days by the mid eighteenth century and a mere seven hours by the nineteenth.
Luckily today we don't have to make the journey by cart or stagecoach, but can take to the road on our trusty motorcycles. Whatever your preferred machine pop into the Dave Barkshire Motorcycle Centre for a full service, or to view our range of new and used bikes.
