Motorcycle Taster Session

Are you considering taking up motorcycle riding, but are unsure about what is involved or whether it’s right for you? Then take one of our informative taster sessions for the great value price of £60.

This two-hour course offers a full introduction to motorbikes, including controls and riding experience in a safe, supervised environment. Our purpose-built facility recreates all the aspects of public roads (markings, junctions, roundabouts etc) but without the possible hazards caused by other road users, whilst our expert instructors will give you the basic grounding that you need to get a taste of motorbiking.

DAS Courses

Direct Access (DAS) Novice, CBT Training and Certificate

Dave Barkshire Motorcycle Training offers this comprehensive course, which includes a minimum of six 4-hour training sessions, full instruction and equipment hire, for just £599 plus test fee.

Our purpose-built centre provides all the facilities necessary to complete your training for Module 1 of the DAS Novice Course. It will enable you to build confidence and become competent to undergo that vital test.

A CBT certificate is necessary to complete a DAS course and you must pass your theory test prior to taking the Module 1 test. You can then progress to Module 2.

Direct Access (DAS) Current CBT Holder and Certificate

We offer a minimum of five 4-hour training sessions including full instruction and equipment hire for £499 plus test fee, which includes all necessary tuition, support and facilities to enable you to take the necessary test.
